Mary said if we can not keep the hut could we set up a square galvanised bin of some sort to house the electronics and fix the cameras to the front ?
That would be a great shame.
Could the EA not just leave the cabin in place ? (if it is that simple).

Later this week it is probable that the two river cameras up on Locks weir will be removed. This is due to the E.A. removing their fish counter at Locks and also the small cabin holding their equipment and also our camera’s modem etc. our two cameras are sited on this cabin. We have a meeting up there on Wednesday afternoon to try to come up with an alternative to re site the camera/s. These cameras cost over £1000 paid for by the RFCA only twelve months ago and since then they have become a great asset for anglers travelling to fish the Ribble. We will do our best to try to keep them.

Can spring and a new fishing season be too far off ? not if you look around the countryside as this photo of snowdrops in bloom taken yesterday Jan 8th on my walk through Waddow. We still have a fair way to go and the weather can suddenly turn very cold and nasty but we look forward with optimism as the days begin to lengthen and the countryside begins to stir. Roll on spring.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all and your families a Very Happy Christmas and a “reet” good and prosperous New Year from both myself and Susan. Have an enjoyable holiday from work, that’s if your still working for a living, us old wrinkle’s will have to make do with retirement. I’m sure we all hope for a better season next year as we put 2018 to bed, wondering what will 2019 hold for us? If only I was able to predict.
