Membership
Membership of Settle Anglers is limited to 150. At present there is a waiting list but members do retire and positions come open. Settle Anglers control approx 5 miles of mainly double bank water on the Ribble around the area and approx 1 1/2 miles single bank water below Halton West at Arnford. We also control fishing on approx 3 mile of the River Wenning, much of that being double bank. We also have the large stillwater of Winterburn which is providing great sport for our members.
We mainly fish for Brown Trout and Grayling but each year a number of Salmon are caught depending on water.
We have a £270 entrance fee and this year the annual subscription is £130.
