An umbrella organisation which fights terrifically hard for the river Ribble, the fish in the river and the members rights of the clubs that fish it. Well informed and strident when necessary, it has close links to the Environment Agency and many other organisations. - Ribblesdale Angling
A neighboring club whose waters abut ours at Arnford but who also have many other good stretches of the Ribble at Sawley and beyond. A very active club. - Skipton Flytyers
A cracking little fly tying club that meets on the third Monday of every month at the Oddfellows Club in Skipton. There are demonstrations of everything from individual flies to the preperation of hides and skins for tying. The Oddfellows Club is right next to the lorry park in Skipton. - The Grayling Society
Devoted to the "Queen of the river" and all things to do with her, whether trotting a long line on the Ribble or casting a grayling bug into a chalk stream. Lots of information on the grayling, its distribution, habits and conservation. A society well worth joining. - The Wild Trout Trust
