Fishy Tales
Arthur Ransome’ – “Rod and Line” is a great book. As well as writing Swallows and Amazons and being a part time spy in Russia, Ransome was also fishing correspondent for the Manchester Guardian. His articles are witty and observant. A television series staring Michael Horden was based on the book and is now available in DVD format.
